MS Nursing–Leadership and Management Capstone Written Project (DHT2) The nursing capstone consists of a thoroughly researched and planned project proposal related to students' practice settings. The project will focus on an identified need in the setting or meet an identified need, based on national or local health initiatives. The project will culminate in a written report, based on rubric/guidelines. The capstone field/practicum experience will be a minimum of 40 hours completed in the specialty area. The whole capstone field/practicum experience is expected to take approximately six months to complete. It is expected that the practicum will provide a problem or area of study for the actual literature review and data collection and analysis. This is a significant piece of research and will culminate in a research report, including a literature review, methodology, and detailed and thorough analysis and reporting of results.
