Accounting Administrative Assistant
The aim of the Accounting Administrative Assistant program is for students who are considering a career in accounting and wish to acquire the skills required to work as an the Accounting Administrative Assistant.
The Accounting Administrative Assistant program will teach you the skills required to produce both manually and computerized reports. Key modules of the course include:

The course prepares you for a job supporting all of the administrative functions for an Accounting Department which include assisting in the production and distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports.

| Credit Transfer Restrictions |
To have credits from another institution considered, students must show that the previous course completed is equivalent to the course they are looking to receive exemption from. Students must pay a credit transfer assessment fee for each course that prior learning credit is requested. Prior Learning/Advanced Standing credits can be granted for up to a maximum of 50% of the program. Any courses awarded such credits will have "CR" reflected on the transcript of marks. Credits awarded through advanced standing are not transferable to other learning institutions. |

Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper
The Accounting Assistant/Bookkeeper Diploma Program prepares students for careers in bookkeeping and accounting. In this 30-week program, students develop an excellent background in general accounting and bookkeeping principles with significant emphasis on the use of accounting software. The program covers the latest versions of Simply Accounting, AccPac and QuickBooks Pro, the most popular commercial accounting software used in business today. While not all companies will use one of these packages, graduates will have well rounded skills and will easily adapt to other software programs. In addition to the accounting software, students learn a full set of computer applications that are required to compete in a competitive job market; including MS Excel, Access, MS Word and Outlook
