Do not want to become an on-line student in the family nurse practitioner program - not unless you have ENDLESS amounts of time to search for a preceptorship. Preceptorships are impossible to find and it is your SOLE responsibility with NO help or support from the school. You can't continue in the program unless you complete the clinical hours. The SON response is "it's part of your professional development." Can't transfer and there is no refund for tuition if you can't secure a preceptorship. Choose a local university that contracts w/preceptors.
