Leon Cover founded Mr. Leon's in 1969 with his wife Janice. He owned, operated and taught at the Moscow school with his wife until his passing in 1995. Lisa Cover Salisbury, Leon and Janice's daughter, followed in her father's footsteps and took over running the school. Along with her husband, Kurt, Lisa has operated the Moscow school since 1996 and opened a sister school in Lewiston Idaho in 1997. Lisa is a licensed cosmetologist and instructor; and owned and operated her own salon for eight years.
