NCTA Mission Statement The University of Nebraska - Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) is a two year public college of the University of Nebraska system first serving the students and people of Nebraska, but also the nation and the world. NCTA is committed to providing students with the preparation necessary to develop highly technical employable skills or to continue educational opportunities at a baccalaureate granting university. The mission of NCTA is enhanced by a symbiotic relationship between the Institute of Agriculture & Natural Resources and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Coordinated scholarship, teaching and extension efforts contribute to the development of a highly skilled and educated work force necessary to the economic well-being of Nebraska. The objective of the educational program at NCTA is to develop an individual with the ability to provide enlightened judgment in professional, personal and social activities.
