This is a very good program, very well put together, If you can take being talked to like a child everyday, that is there only downside, most of the teacher talk down to the class like their talking to 7 year olds. But in the end, if just ignore the disrespect it is worth it.

I graduated from this program in 2009. This was both the best vocational choice of my life and the most difficult educational undertaking I had ever attempted. To all the people who think that because you pay for school you deserve a nursing license ... get over yourself. Being a nurse is a calling not a profession. The difficulty of the program combined with the intensity of training from highly qualified nurses/teachers is what made me coming out of school more prepared than many nurses with years of experience. During my subsequent nursing career I have earned many accolades including being nominated by the Illinois healthcare Association for their nurse of the year award. I credit CVCC school of nursing for preparing me to be a better nurse than any other school could have. If being a nurse is actually what you want to do with the rest of your life not just show up and get a paycheck …actually BE a nurse, then this is the only program worth paying for.
