Western New Mexico University Mustang Athletics offers an opportunity for student athletes to earn a quality education while pursuing their athletic dreams and careers. WNMU is a member of the NCAA Division II and highly competitive Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. WNMU Mustangs participate in softball, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, golf, and cross country. Athletics Tuition and Financial Aid Of 81 colleges and universities in the area, WNMU remains the fifth lowest in tuition. Tuition and fees for the 2008-09 academic year was $1635.25 per semester.
