Mission Statement Missions is a very important part of our ministry and we desire to see all students on mission with God all over the world. We take a mission trip each spring break and we also help students find somewhere to serve during the summer, here in the United States or overseas. We also invite all WBC students, faculty and staff to join us in prayer for the spread of the Gospel throughout the world. Spring Break Missions Each Spring Break we take a weeklong mission trip. Summer Missions During the summer, we send student missionaries all over Arkansas, the United States and the world to share the love of Christ. Students have served in Florida, Georgia, Wyoming, Alabama, Australia, Ukraine and Guatemala (just to name a few), making an impact on the world for Christ. Many different types of mission opportunities are available and we will help you find an area that best fits you and your desires. Throughout both semesters we will have representatives of mission agencies on campus recruiting students to be a part of their summer projects. Praying for Missions WBC has committed to pray for an unengaged/unreached people group on the other side of the world. An unreached people group is a people group in which less than 2 percent of the population are Evangelical Christians. We are praying for the Gospel to be brought to this group specifically. Maybe some day a Williams student will be the one sharing the Gospel with this group. If you would like to join us in our prayer commitment, stop by the Campus Ministries office and pick-up a seven-day prayer guide and a prayer bracelet for our specific people group. The study of music at Williams is essentially a three-fold program, including studies in the liberal arts, training in basic musicianship, and specialized training. The liberal arts requirements include the humanities, the social and natural sciences, religion, and physical education. The core of the music program is musicianship i.e., applied music study, which includes solo and ensemble experience, music literature and history, music education, conducting, and extensive studies of music theory. «show less
